Kurt Busiek graduated from Syracuse University in 1982, he had already sold his first professional comics script--a backup story that appeared in

Kurt has won more than two dozen industry awards for his work. Among them are multiple Eisner Awards and Harvey Awards for Best Series, Best Single Issue, and Best Writer. In 1996,
Marvels was named a Best Book for Young Readers by the New York Public Library. Kurt lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two daughters and cat. The author lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
Cary Nord is a comic book artist known for his work with Dark Horse, Marvel, and DC. Nord was educated at the Alberta College of Art and Design. Some of his most prominent work is
Conan, Manowar, Daredevil, Suicide Squad, and
Wolverine. He is the winner of the Will Eisner Comic Industry Award in 2004.
