Alan  Cheuse

Alan Cheuse is the longstanding book voice of National Public Radio and the author of five novels, four collections of short stories, the memoir Fall Out of Heaven, and A Trance After Breakfast, a collection of travel essays. His short fiction has appeared in the Antioch Review, the Idaho Review, New Letters magazine, the New Yorker, Ploughshares magazine, Prairie Schooner journal, and the Southern Review, among other publications. He teaches at George Mason University's Writing Program and the Squaw Valley Community of Writers. He currently resides in Washington, DC.
