Alan Weisman recently left CBS News after more than twenty-five years as a writer and producer on news broadcasts such as 60 Minutes, CBS Sunday Morning with Charles Osgood, the CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite, and the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather. He has also worked for Time Life and Charlie Rose. Weisman has appeared on NPR's All Things Considered and in other major publications.
