Alderman  Naomi

Naomi Alderman has written four books. She won the Orange Award for New Writers in 2006, was nominated Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year in 2007, and was chosen one of Waterstones' 25 Writers for the Future in 2008. BBC Radio 4's Book at Bedtime has broadcast all of her novels. She was named to the prestigious Granta Best of Young British Writers list in 2013. She is based in London.

Malorie Blackman is the author of more than seventy books for children and young adults, including the Noughts & Crosses series, Thief, and Chasing the Stars, a science-fiction thriller. Many of her stories have been adapted for theatre and television, including Pig-Heart Boy, which won a BAFTA award, and Noughts & Crosses, which was staged by Sabrina Mahfouz for the Pilot Theatre. Noughts & Crosses is also being produced by the BBC, with Roc Nation (Jay-Z's entertainment firm) serving as executive music producer.
