Alison Bechdel's early comic strip Dykes to Look Out For spawned a cult following that grew exponentially with her family memoirs, including the best-selling graphic memoir Fun Home, which was transformed into a Tony Award-winning musical, and Are You My Mother? In 2021, her new memoir, The Secret to Superman Strength, will be released.
