Amy Bass teaches history at The College of New Rochelle as an associate professor. She is the author of Not the Triumph but the Struggle: The 1968 Olympics and the Creation of the Black Athlete (Minnesota, 2002) and the editor of In the Game: Race, Identity, and Sports in the Twentieth Century.
