Andrew Cartmel is a screenwriter and author. Midsomer Murders, Torchwood, and a legendary spell as Script Editor on Doctor Who are among his television credits. He's also written plays for the London Fringe Festival, performed stand-up comedy, and is currently co-writing a series of comics with Ben Aaronovitch based on the bestselling Rivers of London books. He is based in London.
