Andrew Fukuda

ANDREW FUKUDA was born in Manhattan and reared in Hong Kong. He graduated from Cornell University with a bachelor's degree in history and worked as a criminal prosecutor for seven years before becoming a full-time writer. Fukuda's volunteer work with the immigrant juvenile community in Manhattan's Chinatown inspired him to write Crossing, his debut novel, which was named an Editor's Choice, Top Ten Debut Novel, and Top Ten Crime Novel by ALA Booklist. He and his family currently reside on Long Island, New York.
