Angela J Hanscom

Angela J. Hanscom is a pediatric occupational therapist and the originator of TimberNook, an internationally recognized developmental and nature-based program. She has a master's degree in occupational therapy and a bachelor's degree in kinesiology (movement science) with a focus on health fitness. Hanscom has been a frequent writer to The Washington Post's Answer Sheet column and has been featured on the NPR education blogs Children & Nature Network and MindShift. She was named a Hometown Hero by Glamour magazine for her pioneering work with TimberNook. Hanscom lives in Barrington, New Hampshire.
