Asa Christiana

Asa Christiana began at Fine Woodworking magazine in 2000 with a background in engineering, woodworking, and journalism, and quickly rose through the ranks to become chief editor, a position he held for eight years. Along the way, he was instrumental in the creation of, a free website for novice woodworkers. Asa moved to Portland, Oregon, with his family after standing down in 2013, where he produces furniture and works as a freelance writer, editor, and photographer. Make Things with Wood (Taunton Publishing, 2017) is his first book.
