Axton BetzHamilton

Axton Betz-Hamilton is an expert in identity theft, having experienced it firsthand and turned it into a vocation. Axton made it her life's mission to grasp the complexities of identity theft after discovering her own mother had stolen her and her father's identities for years. Axton holds a Master's degree in Computer Sciences and Retailing and a doctorate in Human Development and Family Studies, with a emphasis on child identity theft and elder financial exploitation done by family members. She routinely lectures on the topic at a variety of conferences and has earned several accolades for her research, teaching, and service. She is an adjunct professor at South Dakota State University.
