Barbara Reynolds is an Italian scholar and translator best known for finishing Dorothy L. Sayers' Dorothy L. Sayers' Dorothy L. Sayers' Dorothy L. Sayers' Dorothy L. Sayers Sayers' Penguin Classics translation of Dante's Divine Comedy. She has also translated Dante's 'La Vida Nuova,' which has recently been reissued in a new edition. An international award was given to her translation of Ariosto's 'Orlando Furioso,' which was also published by Penguin Classics. She's also the author of the bestselling biography 'Dorothy L.

She is the author of 'Dorothy L. Sayers: Her Life and Soul' and the editor of 'The Letters of Dorothy L. Sayers'. Sayers' works are published in four volumes, with a fifth volume of childhood memoirs. In 'The Passionate Intellect,' now in its second edition, she tells the narrative of Sayers' devotion to Dante. She has been awarded by the Italian Republic for her contributions to Italian studies as the general editor of 'The Cambridge Italian Dictionary.'

She is also the recipient of three honorary doctorates. She is currently based in Cambridge, UK.
