Ben Zaehringer

Ben Zaehringer was born in the year 1988 in Glendale, California. In 2010, he earned a Cinema Studies degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Berkeley Mews, a darkly comedic send-up of pop culture nostalgia that has been published in BuzzFeed, Savage Dragon, and on the main page of Reddit, was launched in 2009. He also writes humor for the Reuben Award-winning comic strip Rhymes with Orange and draws In the Bleachers, a sports-themed nationally syndicated daily newspaper strip. He was the Artist-in-Residence at the Charles M. Schulz Museum in 2015.

Santa Rosa, California's Schulz Museum and Research Center. He illustrated Hangry Thief, a food-themed card game, in 2018. Sorry I Ruined Your Childhood, his first collection of Berkeley Mews comics, was released on October 1st, 2019. He and his wife, Edith, live in San Francisco with their two cats.
