Benjamin Hoff grew up in a little town just outside of Portland, Oregon. He loved to spend his childhood days outside, examining animals, insects, and plants. He has always enjoyed writing and has done so since he was a child. He's also the author of The Tao of Pooh and The Diary of Opal Whiteley, both of which were New York Times bestsellers.
