Bill Finger, who wrote Batman's first adventures in Detective Comics, provided several key comments that helped Kane polish his original vision. He worked on a variety of DC characters and titles, as well as scripting several of the Batman and Robin newspaper strips from the 1940s. 77 Sunset Strip, The Roaring Twenties, and Hawaiian Eye are among Finger's television credits, as are the animated New Adventures of Superman and a two-part Clock King episode of the 1966 Batman series.
