Blake Neely

Blake Neely has been playing piano since he was about four years old, yet it took a long time before he could produce audible music. His love of music inspired him to try other instruments including the French horn, guitar, and drums, but the keyboard is still his favorite. He traveled to Los Angeles after graduating from the University of Texas in 1991 to gain expertise in the music industry. He served as an editor of all printed songs publications for Disney Music Publishing after licensing music for Hollywood Records. He is a multi-award-winning composer and author who has written symphonies, piano concertos, and orchestral and chamber works.

He is the co-author of Hal Leonard Corporation's popular FastTrack series.
