Bob Gale

Bob Gale is an Oscar-nominated screenwriter, producer, and director best known for his work on Back to the Future and its sequels as cocreator, cowriter, and coproducer. Gale was born and reared in St. Louis, Missouri. Louis, Missouri, and earned a B.A. from Phi Beta Kappa. In 1973, he received his bachelor's degree in cinema from the University of Southern California. In addition to 1941, I Wanna Hold Your Hand, Used Cars, Trespass, and Interstate 60, he has authored over thirty screenplays.

Gale has also written comic books such as Spider-Man, Batman, and IDW's Back to the Future series, and has testified as an expert witness in over twenty-five plagiarism cases. Gale, his wife, and their dog live in Southern California.
