Bob Katz is a coauthor of The New Public School Parent (Penguin, 2002), which popular author Mel Levine calls the best book available for parents sending their children to public schools. He's also the author of the novel Hot Air (Birch Lane), which Kirkus called a clever, funny debut and which MGM optioned for a film. His work has appeared in a variety of media, including the New York Times, Newsweek, Parents, USA Today, Mother Jones, Chicago Tribune, Family Life, the Nation, Boston Globe, Parenting, Christian Science Monitor, and others. He's also featured on NPR, CNN's Talk Back Live, ABC's Good Morning America, and numerous other television and radio shows. He currently resides in Massachusetts.
