Before launching Humans of New York in the summer of 2010, BRANDON STANTON studied at the University of Georgia and worked as a bond trader in Chicago. He's appeared on The Today Show and the BBC, and his images have appeared on Vogue.com and TheAtlantic.com. He's also been featured in The Wall Street Journal. Tumblr's founder, David Karp, named Humans of New York as his favorite Tumblr site. Stanton is a New Yorker who lives in Brooklyn.
