Franklyn M. is a writer. Branley was the creator of the Let's-Read-and-Find-Out Science series and the author of over 150 popular books for young readers of all ages about scientific themes. He was the former Chairman of the American Museum of Natural History-Hayden Planetarium and Astronomer Emeritus.
