Brendan Gregg is a cloud computing and computing performance expert in the industry. He works for Netflix as a senior performance architect, where he is responsible for performance design, evaluation, analysis, and tuning. He earned the USENIX LISA Award for Distinguished Achievement in System Administration. He is the author of several technical books, including BPF Performance Tools and Systems Performance. He's also worked as a kernel developer and performance lead, as well as serving as the program co-chair for the USENIX LISA 2018 conference. He has developed performance tools for a variety of operating systems, as well as visualizations and approaches for performance analysis, such as flame graphs.
