Brett Slatkin

Brett Slatkin works at Google as a principal software engineer. He co-founded Google Surveys on a technical level, co-created the PubSubHubbub protocol, and launched Google's first cloud computing product (App Engine). He got his start managing Google's massive fleet of servers with Python fourteen years ago. He enjoys playing the piano and surfing (both in a bad way) when he's not at work. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in science. Columbia University in New York awarded him a bachelor's degree in computer engineering. He currently resides in San Francisco.
