Britta Teckentrup is the author and artist of a number of well-loved children's books, including The Memory Tree, The Odd One Out, and Grumpy Cat, as well as Before I Wake Up... and Oskar is a big fan of... (Both produced by Prestel). Her latest book about weather phenomena has been shortlisted for Germany's most prestigious children's book award. She is based in Berlin and works there.
