Chris (C.C.) Humphreys grew up in Los Angeles and London after being born in Toronto. Throughout the past twenty-five years, he has played a variety of starring roles, including Hamlet, Caleb in the miniseries A.D., and Jack Absolute in Sheridan's The Rivals. His first novel, The French Executioner, was in second place for the CWA Steel Dagger for Thrillers in 2002. Absolute Honor, the third novel in the series, will be released after The Blooding of Jack Absolute. Chris resides in Vancouver with his wife and small kid, and has created The Runestone Saga, a fantasy/horror novel for teens that begins with The Fetch.
