Caitlin Rother has written for Cosmopolitan, the Los Angeles Times, the Daily News of Los Angeles, the Chicago Tribune, the Boston Globe, and the San Diego Union-Tribune, among other publications. She was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and now works full-time as a writer. Rother's books include Poisoned Love, a definitive account of the Kristin Rossum murder case, and Naked Addiction, a novel. She has won three honors in the Best of the West competition, which evaluates stories from major metropolitan newspapers throughout thirteen western states. She also received five honors for a story that followed the progress of all five organ recipients from a twelve-year-old donor, including the Associated Press News Executives Council's Best Feature award and the Los Angeles Press Club's Best News-Feature award. Rother is a resident of San Diego.
