Candace Candy Havens is an award-winning and best-selling author. Charmed & Dangerous, Charmed & Ready, Charmed & Deadly, Like A Charm, and The Demon King and I are some of her novels. She is recognized for her strong female protagonists who save the world but aren't faultless. She has been a finalist for the RITA, Write Touch Reader, and Holt Medallion on two occasions. She is also the Barbara Wilson Award winner.

Candy writes for FYI Television and is a widely syndicated entertainment columnist. She has interviewed nearly everyone in Hollywood, from George Clooney and Orlando Bloom to Nicole Kidman and Kate Beckinsale, as a senior journalist. Candy can be heard on 96.3 KSCS in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on a weekly basis. Her popular online Writer's Workshop, which has over 1000 students and offers free sessions to both professional and aspiring writers, has a large following.
