Cara McKenna has written over 35 romance and erotica series with a number of publishers since 2008, including the Sins in the City novels and the Desert Dogs novels, occasionally under the pen name Meg Maguire. Her stories have been praised for their defiance of convention and clever, current voice. She was a finalist for the RITA Award in 2015, the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award in 2014, and the Golden Heart Award in 2010.
