Jacqueline Carey is the author of the Kushiel's Legacy series, which includes Kushiel's Dart, Kushiel's Chosen, and Kushiel's Avatar, as well as the epic fantasy duology The Sundering, postmodern fables Santa Olivia and Saints Astray, and the Agent of Hel contemporary fantasy series. Carey is a resident of west Michigan.
