Carol Lee Flinders has a Ph.D. and is the author of the critically acclaimed Lasting Grace and At the Root of This Longing, as well as the coauthor of the million-copy-selling Laurel's Kitchen. He holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature and has taught writing and mystical literature classes at the University of California, Berkeley.
