Catra Corbett, a former meth addict, is the first American woman to run 100 miles or more on more than 100 occasions, and she holds the record for the fastest time on the 425-mile John Muir path, having completed it in twelve days, four hours, and fifty-seven minutes. She lives in Fremont, California, with her trail-running dachshund, TruMan.
