Erika Christakis is a Yale Child Study Center early childhood educator who also teaches undergraduate courses on child development and policy. She graduated with honors from Harvard College and holds advanced degrees from Johns Hopkins University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the Graduate School of Education at Lesley University. She is a licensed preschool director and a Massachusetts-certified teacher (pre-K through second grade). She has contributed to The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, TIME.com, and the Financial Times, among other publications. She resides in the city of New Haven, Connecticut.
