Christiane Lemieux

Christiane Lemieux is a seasoned businesswoman. She is the founder of The Inside, a direct-to-consumer home furnishings company, as well as Lemieux et Cie, her own lifestyle brand. DwellStudio, her initial company, was acquired to Wayfair in 2013, where Lemieux worked as the company's Executive Design Director until 2016. She was also a co-host and judge on Ellen Degeneres' HGTV furniture design competition show Ellen's Design Challenge. Lemieux published her first book, Undecorate, in 2011 to critical acclaim, and her second best-selling book, The Finer Things, in 2016. Frictionless, her most recent book about the new principles of entrepreneurship and business, will be released in June 2020.

Lemieux contributes to Architectural Digest, Apartment Therapy, and other design publications on a regular basis. Lemieux is a board member of Every Mother Matters and a devoted philanthropist. She was named one of Fortune's 2012 Most Influential Women Entrepreneurs. She is a New York City resident who attended Parsons School of Design and Queen's University in Canada.
