Colin Burrow is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford's All Souls College. In his OUP monograph Epic Romance: Homer to Milton, as well as a variety of pieces on Spenser, Milton, Shakespeare, and other authors, he has written extensively on the relationship between Renaissance literature and the classical past. For the Oxford Shakespeare, he edited the Complete Sonnets and Poems, as well as Ben Jonson's poetry for the Cambridge Edition of the Works of Ben Jonson. He is now working on two book projects: a study of literary imitation as an idea and practice, and the Elizabethan volume for the Oxford English Literary History.
