Courtney Peppernell is a writer who identifies as LGBTQI and is the bestselling author of the Pillow Thoughts series. Chasing Paper Cranes, her debut novel, established her writing career in 2015. Pillow Thoughts, her first poetry collection, was published in 2016 and quickly became the #1 bestseller in the Gay & Lesbian Poetry category. Since then, she's released three more Pillow Thoughts volumes as well as four new titles: The Road Between (2017), Keeping Long Island (2017), I Hope You Stay (2020), and The Distance Between Us (2020). Courtney was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, where she presently resides with her lawyer partner Rhian and their dogs Hero and Dakota. She intends to use stories and poems to explore creative expression and the art of healing for many years to come.
