C S (Clive Staples) Lewis (1898-1963), one of the twentieth century's greatest novelists, is also one of our most prominent Christian thinkers today. He was a Fellow and tutor at Oxford until 1954, then served as Professor of Medieval and Renaissance English at Cambridge for the rest of his career. The Chronicles of Narnia series, The Screwtape Letters, The Four Loves, Mere Christianity, and Surprised by Joy are just a few of his popular and scholarly works.
