Cynthia Nims, a native of the Pacific Northwest, earned her Grand Diplome d'Etudes Culinaires from the La Varenne cooking school in France, where she collaborated on several volumes with owner Anne Willan. Cynthia has also contributed to Cooking Light, Alaska Airlines, Sunset, and other publications. She was previously the editor of Simply Fish magazine and the food editor of Seattle magazine. She has thirteen cookbooks to her credit. Oysters and Crab, published by Sasquatch Books, is her most recent print cookbook. She currently resides in Seattle.
