While working as a General Manager in the automobile industry, Daniel M.Annechino, a former book editor specializing in full-length fiction, authored his first book, How to Purchase the Most Vehicle for the Least Money, in 1992. Yet fiction, particularly thrillers, had always been his obsession. He spent two years researching serial killers before writing They Never Die Quietly, a compelling and memorable debut novel. Resuscitation (Thomas & Mercer 2011), his follow-up to his first work, debuted at #1 in Kindle sales in the United Kingdom and reached #26 in the United States. I Do Solemnly Swear (Thomas & Mercer 2012) and Hypocrisy are his other books.

His sixth novel, A Piece of You, is the third in the Detective Sami Rizzo series. Annechino, a native of New York, now resides in San Diego with his wife Jennifer. He enjoys cooking, a good bottle of fine wine, and spending time on the beautiful beaches of Southern California.
