Daisuke Ashihara began his comic career when his manga Room 303 received second place in the 75th Tezuka Awards when he was 26 years old. In 2009, his first series, Super Dog Rilienthal, debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump. His second serialized piece in Weekly Shonen Jump is World Trigger. He's also the author of a number of short stories, including Super Dog Rilienthal and Trigger Keeper, as well as Elite Agent Jin.
