Daisuke Igarashi is a manga artist who started his career in 1993 and has won numerous awards. The Osamu Tezuka Culture Award was nominated for Little Forest in 2006. Children of the Sea, his current series, won the 38th Japan Cartoonist Prize and is published in IKKI magazine.
