Dale Bredesen

Dale E. Bredesen, MD, is a world-renowned expert on the processes of neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer's disease and the author of The End of Alzheimer's (Avery, 2017), a New York Times bestseller. Before joining the Buck Institute as its founding president and CEO in 1998, he held professor posts at UCSF, UCLA, and the University of California, San Diego, and directed the Burnham Institute's Program on Aging. He is currently a UCLA professor.
