Dana Canedy

Simon & Schuster's executive vice president and publisher is Dana Canedy. She was previously the administrator of the Pulitzer Awards and a senior editor at the New York Times, where she worked for twenty years as a writer. She was part of a team that won the Pulitzer Prize for national reporting in 2001 for their series on race relations in the United States, How Race Is Lived in America. She grew up near Fort Knox and now lives with her son, Jordan, in New York City.
