Daniel C Matt

Daniel C.Matt is an internationally recognized expert on Jewish mysticism. He was Professor of Jewish Spirituality at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California, for almost two decades. He's also taught at Stanford University and Jerusalem's Hebrew University. The Essential Kabbalah, Zohar: The Book of Illumination, Zohar: Annotated and Explained, and God and the Big Bang: Finding Harmony between Science and Spirituality are among his 10 publications. Matt is also the translator of The Zohar: Pritzker Edition, Volume One, which won the National Jewish Book Prize, as well as The Zohar: Pritzker Edition, Volume Two, which won the Koret Jewish Book Award alongside Volume One, and The Zohar: Pritzker Edition, Volume Three.
