Darcey Bussell began her training at the Royal Ballet Academy at the age of 13 and, although arriving later than the majority of her classmates, became a Principal of the Royal Ballet at the age of 19, making her the youngest dancer ever to receive this honor. Darcey was awarded the OBE and CBE during her time with the Royal Ballet, and since her official retirement in 2007, she has collaborated with Katherine Jenkins in the wildly successful Viva la Diva. She has two daughters and is married.
