David Irving has written poetry, fairy tales, plays, short stories, essays, newspaper articles, magazine articles, and books. The Voice in the Stone is his first novel. In 2011 O-Books, an imprint of John Hunt Publishing, published his book The Protein Myth which has been endorsed by some of the top experts in the world in their respective fields. These include John Robbins, author of Diet for a New America and recipient of the Rachel Carson Award and the Peace Abbey's Courage of Conscience Award; Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., author of Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease who President Clinton consulted in reversing his heart disease; and Dr. Samuel S. Epstein, author of The Politics of Cancer and recipient of the Right Livelihood Award (Alternative Nobel prize), the 1998 Project Censored Award (Alternative Pulitzer Prize), and the Albert Schweitzer Golden Grand Medal for Humanitarianism.
