The New York Times' personal-technology columnist, David Pogue, Yale '85, is a Yale alumnus. He is also one of the world's bestselling how-to authors, having written or co-written seven for Dummies books (including Macs, Magic, Opera, and Classical Music), as well as several computer-humor books and the technothriller Hard Drive (which was named a New York Times notable book of the year).
