David Roberts has written twenty-four novels about mountaineering, adventure, and American Southwest history. His essays and articles have appeared in a variety of magazines, including National Geographic, National Geographic Adventure, and The Atlantic Monthly. He resides in the Massachusetts town of Watertown.
