David Woods is a sports reporter from Urbana, Illinois, who has won national and state accolades for his work. Woods has covered five Olympic games for The Indianapolis Star, where he has been the Butler basketball beat writer since 2001. He writes for IndyStar.com's Bulldog Insider blog and is the author of The Butler Way: The Best of Butler Basketball, a regionally published history of the program. He lives in Indianapolis with his wife, Jan, and their two daughters.
