Dawson is the author of Star Wars: Phasma, Star Wars: The Perfect Weapon, the Star Wars short tale Scorched, and a number of Star Wars stories for IDW's Star Wars Adventures all-ages comic series. Other works include the Blud series, Servants of the Storm, the HIT series, Wake of Vultures and Conspiracy of Ravens (both as Lila Bowen), and a number of short tales in anthologies such as Hellboy: An Assortment of Horrors, Carniepunk, Three Slices, and Last Night, A Superhero Saved My Life. Ladycastle, her first comic, is now available via BOOM! Studios. Delilah won the 2015 RT Novel Reviews Fantasy Book of the Year for Wake of Vultures, as well as the 2013 Steampunk Book of the Year and the May Award of Excellence for Blud's Wicked As She Wants. Wake of Vultures received four stars from Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, while Library Journal, and the Blud e-novella The Damsel and the Daggerman received a star from Library Journal.
