Diane Lockward is the author of four poetry collections, including The Uneaten Carrots of Atonement, and The Crafty Poet: A Portable Workshop. She has been awarded the Quentin R. The Howard Poetry Prize, a New Jersey State Council on the Arts poetry scholarship, and a Woman of Achievement Award have all been bestowed upon her. Her work has been published in journals such as Harvard Review, Southern Poetry Review, Prairie Schooner, and others. Poetry Daily, Verse Daily, and The Writer's Almanac have all highlighted her work.
