Donalyn Miller teaches sixth grade language arts at Trinity Meadows Intermediate School in Keller, Texas, and was a nominee for Texas Elementary Teacher of the Year in 2010. She presently contributes to Education Week Teacher's blog, The Book Whisperer. Her literacy-related writings have featured in magazines like Educational Leadership and the Washington Post.
